We are excited to expect number two and started to think about space saving.
What we learned is some toys are very fun and educational/sensory, some are boring or simply ill adapted to some kid's personality. Kids get overwhelmed with too many toys and may miss the fun of imaginative play when not challenged to create new games. Nothing replaces a play buddy or an engaged playful caregiver.
Recent fun toys include:
- Playdoh is a big deal at home these days: we have the simplest $8 kit. It is plenty to keep a 2.5 year old busy.
- feeding and cuddling her corolle
baby doll never gets hold: we got a $2 baby doll bottle at Henry Bear's Park.
- Playing in the bath with stacking cups
- Reading books with a recent favorite being Tous Les Bisous
