My little nephew loves his "tommy" doll. This is a nice sized colorful doll for boys. There is one for girls too that does very well in the wash and can be a gift for newborns.
Layla has her "lola" doll. Both "tommy" and "lola" are in useful as teether and to develop fine motor skills.
